VanDyke is not crazy about his gentle lead - many mistake it for a muzzle, which it is not, but Guiding Eyes now requires the use of Gentle Leads on all their dogs ... while it does not hurt the dogs, it is more of nuisance, yet does make it very easy for a 100lb woman to control an 80lb dog :>)
